Not just good food, we provide so much more.
Redcliffe Meals on Wheels Service has been servicing the Redcliffe Peninsula since 1967 with the funding support of the Federal Government through the Commonwealth Home Support Program, known as CHSP.
Our charter is founded on the words of Vincent De Paul in his message to Volunteers in 1646.
As a not-for-profit organisation, we rely on the ongoing generosity of volunteers to donate their time and commitment so that we can provide quality meals to our customers, for either short or long term periods.
However Meals on Wheels offers much more than a food delivery run, it’s a service that brings a sense of security to our customers through our daily visits.
Because we won’t leave meals in an esky, we are in a position, in an unobtrusive way, to check on the well being of our clients and where necessary contact family or another nominated person if the customer needs assistance.
Our volunteers are dedicated to providing a quality, consistent and friendly service and we value and respect our customers for their previous contribution to our community.
Meals on Wheels is not means tested and is available to our customers and their carers at a small cost
